About Us
1st veterinary inspection, Burghley CCI****
Born in America, Cindy enjoyed considerable success in the USA and competed nationally as a young rider. She won a 5-year scholarship with the United States Equestrian Team which included a year of training at l'École National d'Équitation in Saumur, France.
Cindy came to Europe in 1990 in order to experience the toughest competition in the world. Initially training and competing in Great Britain, she moved to Switzerland in 1992 and during her five years there became Swiss National Champion and Coach for the Swiss National Equestrian team. Now resident in the United Kingdom, she is married to a ‘Brit’ and is permanently based near Dulverton, Devon.
Cindy coaches clinics in Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland and the USA. Her experience and contacts in Europe complement her linguistic abilities (she is fluent in German, French, and Spanish) and have allowed her to represent her Sponsors worldwide.
Cindy has consistently been listed for World and Olympic Games since 1988. Some of her more notable achievements are detailed in her Resume.

And in her never-ending quest to make her horses' lives happier and more comfortable, Cindy has also become very interested in holistic equine therapies. She is a student practitioner in both equine healing (reiki) and equine zoopharmacognosy (animal self -medication using herbs and plant essential oils) and uses these skills to great effect on her competition horses.
Cindy's Support Team
Scott Rawson
Scott Rawson
Cindy met Scott Rawson at a New Year's Eve party. Neither was planning to go out that night, but each was talked into it by their respective roommates resulting in a wedding a year and a half later in Brookfield, Connecticut! Scottie didn't know one end of a horse from the other, but after ten years of life married to an international eventer, he has become a critical member of the CR Event Team.
He combines great patience with a wry British sense of humor to help Cindy weather the inevitable ups and downs of top level competition.
Pat and Don Collier
Pat and Don
Cindy’s parents, Pat and Don, have always been an integral part of Cindy’s Team. It was Don who was first responsible for putting Cindy on a horse at age 3, and the rest is history! Pat and Don came over to England to spend a year helping Cindy at the events during 2003, a year from which they are still recovering!
Now happily retired in Florida, Cindy’s parents still ride and follow the sport of eventing avidly, and they try to travel to Europe at least once a year for Cindy’s most important competitions. Ashdale David’s Way (Davey), one of Cindy’s best horses who features prominently on this site, is now happily retired in Florida. He is Don’s ‘super hack’and enjoys being treated like a king. Cindy is extremely grateful to her parents for all of their encouragement and support throughout her career. She still has many goals she wishes to achieve in the equestrian world, so she always warns Pat and Don that they must stay fit because her competition ‘pit crew’ won’t function without them!
